This policy explains how ADU Scope produces and maintains its content.
Independence
We are not affiliated with any government agency, builder, lender or ADU company. We do not accept payment to feature a company or change how a rule is described. If we ever add affiliate links or sponsored content, they will be labeled clearly.
How articles are produced
Articles are drafted with the help of AI tools and then checked line by line against the primary sources described in How we verify. The site owner reviews and approves each article before it is published. AI drafting is a starting point, not a source: a claim stays in an article only if we can point to a statute, an agency page or an official city document that supports it.
Updates
We re-verify articles when a relevant law or ordinance changes and at regular intervals. The “Last verified” date at the top of each guide shows the most recent check.
Corrections
If you find an error or an outdated rule, tell us which article and which statement, and send the source you are relying on. We correct confirmed errors promptly and update the verification date. Contact: admin@adunorth.com.
Advertising
The site may show ads. Ads are kept separate from the text and are never placed to look like part of an article. Advertisers have no influence over content.
Not legal advice
Content is general information. It is not legal, tax or engineering advice and does not create a professional relationship. Confirm current rules with your local planning department or a licensed professional.
